Tomato sauce is really an unavoidable item in
our menu. Because in this fast life, we
are mostly depends on readily available food items. Here, I am introducing a home-made tomato
sauce, which is very easy to prepare and tasty.
This recipe is for all of you… Just try it..
Ingredients:
Tomato
-------------------------------- 6 numbers (ripened Bangalore tomato)
Ginger
--------------------------------- 2 teaspoon (chopped)
Garlic
---------------------------------- 2 teaspoon (chopped)
Dried
chilly (vattalmulaku) ------ 8 numbers (remove seeds)
Vinegar
------------------------------- ½ cup
Cardamom
--------------------------- 3 numbers
Clove
---------------------------------- 3 numbers
Cinnamon
---------------------------- one big stick
Sugar
--------------------------------- 6 teaspoon
Salt
------------------------------------ to taste
Preparation:
1.
Wash and cut the tomatoes into small
pieces
2.
In a mixer grinder, make a paste of
ginger, garlic and seedless dried chilli
3.
In a pressure cooker, add chopped
tomatoes, paste, cardamom, cinnamon, clove and vinegar and cook for 15 minutes
4.
After cooking, allow it to cool
5.
Remove cinnamon, cardamom and clove
from the cooked item
6.
In a mixer grinder, make a paste from
the cooked item (excluding cinnamon, cardamom and clove)
7.
Take a pan and pour the paste and
allow it to boil in low flame
8.
Add sugar and salt and cook till it
become the consistency of sauce
9.
Now the tomato sauce is ready to
serve
I am sure that you will definitely try this
recipe in your kitchen… Because this recipe is very easy to prepare and good
for everyone including children… In
this, I didn’t add any preservatives… So keep it in fridge after cool down…
This can be used with cutlet, samosa, burger,
noodles etc..
